Quality check – if it is not tested it doesn’t work!
Last call for the SCOM Team: do patching right! Test it and then test it once again. If not, people will lose confidence in what is (imo) a great product, if they didn’t already.
After all the messed up hotfixes of the past months, two new ones must be added:
- an issue related on one side to the new cluster MP and on the other to an OS fix for the wmi provider of failover clusters (this one is not in charge to the SCOM team) http://blogs.technet.com/momteam/archive/2009/02/27/two-issues-with-the-recently-released-cluster-management-pack.aspx
- an issue with a recently released IIS 7 MP qfe
