Application Server 2008 bug

I don’t know you, but my RMS has a few but repeating error events in the OpsMgr event log. Since everything is working I seldom have the time to track them down to try to find the cause and the solution.

One of these is a 4509 error message through every time the "Application Server 2008 Instances Group" is recalculated.

Event Type:    Error

Event Source:    HealthService

Event Category:    Health Service

Event ID:    4509

Date:        8/23/2010

Time:        10:33:49 AM

at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Mom.DatabaseQueryModules.GroupCalculationModule..ctor(ModuleHost`1 moduleHost, XmlReader configuration, Byte[] previousState)

The guilty discovery is

Honestly I  hadn’t understand what’s wrong with the snippet above, but since this group isn’t used in any monitoring I just disabled the discovery.
